The Wedding of
Jarvis & Alisha
YOU'RE INVITED!
WE ARE GETTING MARRIED
Dear Loved Ones,
We are delighted to invite you to attend our special day.
Turns out, we're not much for tradition, so we're crossing the ditch to Fiji to tie the knot.
We understand that by having a destination wedding, not all our loved ones will be able to come. While we would love you all of you to attend our special day, we completely understand if you can't.
Trust us when we say that we're doing it anyway! Though we do hope you'll be there to share in the fun.
We're saying 'I-do' on the beach and we'll throw a fun party to celebrate it afterwards. Nothing fancy, just love and an open bar.
We would be thrilled for you to join us on this special day in our lives and share in our happiness. ❤️
Please respond by Friday 2 May 2025. If you respond after this date you'll have to figure out your own food and seating arrangement (no, seriously).
With Love, Jarvis & Alisha

Key Event Info
Children at the Wedding
Your children are welcome to attend the wedding ceremony however, the reception will be an adults only gathering specifically for those listed on the invitation. Put simply, if their name is not on the invite, they're not invited to attend.
If you do wish to have your child/children attend the ceremony, please let us know in advance for seating arrangements.
For reference, at the time in which we get married, our baby will be 3.5 months old and will not be in attendance at either the ceremony or reception.
The Outrigger Resort has an incredible nanny service, Meimei Nanny Services, we encourage guests to use this service if they wish.
Wedding Attire
We’re so excited to celebrate with you on the beach! While the setting is relaxed, we’d love for everyone to dress how they would for a wedding.
Think light and breezy outfits that still feel a bit fancy—dresses, skirts, or dressy jumpsuits for the ladies, and collared shirts with slacks or nice shorts for the guys. We just ask that you skip the super casual stuff like jeans, tank tops, or flip-flops! Can’t wait to see you looking great by the ocean

TRAVELLING TO FIJI
If you're travelling all that way for a wedding, why not make it an incredible holiday experience too?! To help, we've mapped out some key things you may choose to do while there (alongside some other top tips).
Accommodation
The Outrigger Beach Resort is located on the Coral Coast of Fiji and boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the world. However, it is a 1-hour commute from the port entrance to where you'll need to be if you decide to do day trips to any of the outer Islands neighboring Fiji. If you're looking for a relaxing holiday, sipping cocktails on the beach, then by all means stay on the Coral Coast. Or, you could choose to stay a few nights on the Coral Coast (at the Outrigger as an example) and then move nearer to the port entrance for day activities.
Activities
Day Cruise to one of the outer Islands - $150 - $200 pp
Day trip to Cloud 9 Floating Platform - $160 pp
ATV Quad Biking Tour - $250 pp
River Tubing - $120 pp
Snorkel with Sharks - $261

Sunday
Sunday is church day which means it is a sacred day for the Fijian people. Many shops are closed or have limited hours during this day of the week.
Weather
The seasons in Fiji are similar to Australia - rainy, hot and then hotter (or maybe that's just QLD). Warm sunny days are most common in June - August. November - January is their wet season.
Food
Buy local wherever possible. These are small communities who thrive on tourism and people like us. Food can be expensive so be mindful of this. It is also unlikely that your accommodation will have cooking facilities due to fire risks. So prepare to try the variety of Fijian cuisines on offer.
Visas
If you're coming from NZ or AUS, you won't need a visa. Check out this site for more information.
Passport
Just in case some of us haven't travelled for a while, you will still need a passport for international travel. Most places require 6-months of time remaining on the expiry date following the date of travel.
Exchange Rate (as at 18/12/2024)
$1 AUD = $1.47 FJD
$1 NZD = $1.33 FJD
GIFTS
Our greatest gift is your attendance on our special day. We do not want for any gifts.
We're so excited to celebrate with you.
